Bumptop is a 3D physics enabled Desktop. I discovered it from a post by my friend over at TechMirage.com and had to throw it up on here. Everyone should give this a try in my opinion, it is very fun, and I believe most people would enjoy it way more than their normal boring desktops. Bumptop has a free and a not so free ‘Pro’ version that only costs $29. If you like the results of the free enough I am sure you wont mind indulging for the 30 bucks but it really just depends on if you think it is worth it.
Continue reading to see a video of the program, Min Reqs, Download, and also a list of what the differences are for the free and pay versions.

Its cool, tried it out 2day. Its a little too graphicly intensive for my machine, even tho i have the recomended graphics card (Geforce 6200). I also couldnt see myself getting used to this as my desktop. Its also not very compatable XP in my opinion. i can imagine some people will find it more usefull then others, but i dont realy do much on my desktop except store files and short cuts.
Yeah, I could understand that. I am on the other side of the spectrum though, I have a great graphics card and I run Vista. To me its like a normal desktop, just a little more fun.
Dude.
I just bought it, and it’s totally awesome.
I can play around with my desktop for hours!
i say they need a linux version
You could probably just design a 3D thing in google sketchup, like a kitchen, or make some cool 3D thing in shockwave.
