My names Steven and this is my little corner of the universe.

Basically Lurpin began as a thought in my head without a name about a website that would have a bunch of cool stuff on it.  And of course it would be the best site in the world.  Making websites and working on them whenever I need a break from real life was always just a hobby.  It wont be my career, and I doubt I will ever abandon it…at least not in the foreseeable future.  Lurpin was derived from Alaska (a friend I met the first year of college) and his friend who I didn’t know at all.  Originally it was completely based around music and had tons of music that could be uploaded/listen to/downloaded/commented on but after the scripts and coding I was using got irritating and out dated I dropped it completely and remade the site.  The website didnt have nearly as much functionality as it used to and kind of just turned into a place where I randomly posted articles on a bunch of different things.  Year or so later I redesigned and dropped some things as well as added some, and I have what you see now.  I put up music and shoes I like on the front page as well as try to come up with independent pages that you see under the navigation.  I like a lot of things and will most likely put up anything I deem worthy.  So that might mean I dont have a reason for the site or maybe just an extremely broad reasoning for the site.  It doesn’t matter though, not to me.  If you want to get in touch with me for any reason hit me up at feedback@lurpin.com and wait for a response.
